BEGINNINGS OF HEARTFIRE COLLECTIVE

Jay and Amy always knew their collective talent for hair would forge their professional path together. Beginning their careers at award-winning salon Fruition Style Ambition in Brisbane, they have acquired a wealth of knowledge through their combined 20 years experience in the industry.

Jay and Amy boast knowledge of multiple hair care brands including Aveda, Schwarzkopf, Alter Ego Italy, Kerastase, Shu Uemura, Evo and their skills have allowed them to be involved in Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks and educational hair events such as Aveda and Schwarzkopf advanced colour training and internationally acclaimed training with Vidal Sasson Academy London. They also have extensive experience in hair styling for weddings and collaborative fashion, film and photography projects.

The pair have now joined forces on their latest hair venture – Heartfire Collective – opening a salon just five minutes drive from Byron Bay’s CBD, in the tranquil and lush surrounds of Lilli Pilli. Heartfire Collective offers both individual hair solutions and full service wedding hair styling in Byron Bay.

Heartfire Collective understands that people love to enhance their emotional state of being through the physical – whether it’s catching waves, rolling out a yoga mat, buying a new outfit or getting a new hair do. Good hair has the power to define and uplift a person and Heartfire Collective is committed to enhancing their clients’ appearance and confidence through their services.
Having worked extensively along the Queensland and New South Wales coastline, Jay and Amy have successfully established a loyal clientele base. Central to their business philosophy is an unwavering commitment to the people they work with and serve – from all walks of life.
Cutting and colouring hair is only the half of it. For Jay and Amy, the conversations, transformations and personal growth they witness through their hair journeys are what keeps the fire burning. Jay and Amy’s love of life, infectious energy and positive attitude are what keeps their clientele loyal. Often referring to themselves as ‘feel good stylists’, making their clients look and feel their best is the most rewarding part of their job.
