Habari Productions is a creative storytelling space with a focus on giving back. We're inspired by the world and the people we meet and photograph. We like to travel to far-flung places and have a deep passion for Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Our work has been Nat Geo-shortlisted and has featured in broadcasts and publications around the world.

We’ve been travelling and taking photos for more than a decade in locations including Syria, Iran, Africa, Mongolia, Mexico, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Europe, America, Maldives our homeland Australia, and so much more.

In 2012 we swapped our TV producing world in Sydney for the depths of Africa. We explored West Africa, Ethiopia, Sudan, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania and lived with some of the world's most remote and endangered tribes.

We met families living on the edges of civilisation. We attended ceremonies, rites of passage, religious festivals and traditional dances. There were times when we were literally off the map! Humanity in all its beauty, strength and weakness can be seen in our collection, called Tribe: Life on the Edge.

We are also travel/production/creative consultants. We have advised the BBC Natural History Unit along with a range of international TV channels and production companies.

We are WorldNomads.com Travel Safety Reporters. We've filmed safety stories with World Nomads in Colombia and Mexico.

STEPH AND BEN
Stephanie Hunt is an Australian journalist with 15 years of experience. She has worked for Al Jazeera English, BBC World News, HARDtalk, Sky News London and Channel 7 Australia. She's currently the Australia editor at Storyful video news agency.
Ben Hogarth has been in the media industry for more than a decade. He's been involved in everything from breaking news coverage, feature stories and live broadcasts. As a field producer for Australia's Seven Network, he coordinated live crosses from around Australia and also around the globe - on a daily basis. Ben has produced live hits from the top of Mt Kilimanjaro; a shark cage in South Australia and the peak of Peru's Machu Picchu. Ben also worked as Head of Production at the Al Jazeera Investigations Unit in Doha, Qatar. He is currently a creative producer at Fox Sports Australia.
