Gympie Youth Art Project

This project will assist local youth to create videos and a theatrical performance for a multi-media arts presentation at the Gympie Civic Centre's Heritage Theatre on the evening of Saturday, July 15.

The project’s aim is to raise questions about identity and our relationship with our communities heritage, such as:
Do you have a sense of pride in your town?
Do you feel there is opportunity to make a place in the future evolution of your town?

The final multi media presentation will include music, art, theatre, dance and film. Young people will be involved in the planning and delivery, from process to performance.
This project is part of Gympie's G150 celebration.
The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Gympie Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
