A true love story of romance and chocolate, the history of Guylian began in 1958 with its founders – Guy and Liliane Foubert.
Guy was a passionate Belgian chocolatier who developed the recipe of a signature hazelnut praliné filling; his sweetheart Liliane added an artistic touch, designing the shining marbled look and the delicately sculptured shapes and from that point Chocolaterie Guy-Lian was born.
Now many years later, Guylian is sold in more than 100 countries and we remain faithful to the original rich praliné recipe and delicately detailed shapes which define the brands heritage.
