Grandview Droughtmaster Stud

Grandview Droughtmaster Stud was founded in 2004 and is operated and owned by Greg and Dianne Anderson. Our stud is situated in Boonah in the beautiful Fassifern Valley and is run over 3 properties covering 450 acres of prime scrub soil country.

We have been striving to improve our herd over the past 10 years with the purchase of top quality bulls and females. EBV’s have played a big role in the purchase and breeding of our cattle. Early maturity is very evident in our current breeding programme.

Preparation for our sale cattle and private sales is based on quality pasture, lucerne silage, small amount of steam flaked barley and a high protein supplement containing a full range of vitamins, minerals and trace elements which helps in the development of their rumen and fertility from weaning age onwards.

We have been showing our cattle for a number of years with great success. Grandview Shakira was shown for 2 seasons winning the Supreme Champion Tropical Female for the West Moreton & Brisbane Valley in 2011.

Grandview High Commander was shown for 2 seasons (2014/15) winning Junior Champion and Senior Champion Bull at several shows and Grand Champion at the Gatton & Beaudesert Shows. Grandview Charlie Girl also won the Junior Champion at several shows in 2014,wining Reserve Champion at Beaudesert.

During the 2015 session Grandview Arizona won Junior Champion at several shows throughout south east Queensland and Grandview Kyros won Junior Champion at several shows throughout south east Queensland and Grand Champion at Boonah Show.
