Golden Dragons Ballarat Boat Club

Golden Dragons can be seen paddling on Lake Wendouree Ballarat.
Since the clubs formation in December 2012, we have managed at acquire 2 new boats, a trailer and all the equipment required for paddling, through community support and fundraising.
Our Aims:
* Have fun and develop as a team
* Embrace the involvement of the diverse cultures of our club.
* Help develop Dragon Boating as a growing community sport in Ballarat and surrounding Districts.
* Grow to have teams participate in events and competitions Nationally and Internationally.
* Encourage participation from all ages between 12 and 100

Paddling Times:
During Daylight Savings (5th October 2014 until 5th April 2015)
* Saturday 3:30pm for 4:00pm on the water
* Wednesdays 5:30pm for 6:00pm on the water
* Other times may be arranged for on and off water training.
During Winter Months
* Saturday 9:15am pm for 9:30pm on the water
* Wednesday 6:00pm off water training

Boats are launched from the boat ramp at Durham Point, North Shore, Lake Wendouree
