Why is pelvic floor and abdominal recovery important?
Incontinence, prolapse and weak core strength are common even in women who haven't had children, so it is vital for all women to maintain good pelvic floor tone and core strength. Doing the wrong types of exercise can cause or exacerbate these conditions. At Go Mum! our classes are designed with these considerations in mind (many women's fitness class out there don't!). We can also work with your physiotherapist or GP to facilitate an effective and timely recovery for your pelvic floor or abdominal conditions.
