Foyer Oxford

All young people need a home, support and a springboard into independent living, learning and work. Some don't get it. Foyer Oxford fills that gap.

Foyer Oxford combines holistic support, high quality housing and access to flexible training to give young people the opportunity to thrive long term. Run by a consortium of Anglicare WA, Foundation Housing and the Central Institute of Technology, Foyer is an innovative solution that inspires young people to follow their strengths and aspirations on a journey into work and out of homelessness.

Foyer Facts:
• Foyer Oxford has 98 Apartments for young people, including 24 for young parents and their kids.
• In return for a 2 year stay, young people sign the ‘Foyer Deal’ where they commit to connecting with employment and training, looking after their apartment and being a positive community member.
• To live at Foyer young people have to be 16-25yrs of age, and be motivated to connect with employment or training.
• Young people at Foyer come from diverse places and situations, but we encourage them to make contact independently so that they are in charge of their journey from the beginning.
• Foyer Oxford has a range of opportunities for the local community to connect with our work, including volunteering.
