Forestville Veterinary Hospital , established in 1964 has been providing complete medical and surgical services for the local pet owning population for more than 45 years.

Our current veterinarians have each had more than 30 years in general practice treating not only dogs and cats but many other family favourites such as birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small creatures. We see a large number of ferrets which are becoming more popular pets.We also treat without charge a variety of wildlife and work closely with WIRES to rehabilitate injured and sick native fauna.

We offer a complete range of services such as radiology, pathology, surgery and dentistry and have access to all specialist services if the need arises.Our nursing staff are all experienced in dealing with both routine and emergency cases and work closely with the veterinarians to ensure each animal receives the best possible care.

Hospitalized cases are closely monitored and if necessary are transferred to our dedicated Emergency Hospital for ongoing attention when we are closed.

Our practice has generous opening hours and there is ALWAYS an emergency vet available after hours.

We are happy to discuss any concerns about your pet over the phone at no charge and will only suggest a check up if it is deemed necessary.
