More about Family Services Illawarra

Play is fun for children, and it’s also a great way for youngsters to learn about the world and each other.

Park and Play is an activity of the Communities for Children Shellharbour initiative funded by the Australian Government.

Park and Play brings children and their carers together in a safe and enjoyable environment. The program is currently offered in the Shellharbour local government area.

Park and Play involves free weekly play sessions in parks and outdoor areas for children aged 0-5 years and their parents and carers. The sessions are supported by friendly, trained staff.

Through Park and Play, parents and carers get to meet other adults caring for young children in their area, and pick up new ideas for fun play activities that can be recreated at home!
