We are Volkswagen and Audi mechanics with over 30 year’s experience in car repair, maintenance and performance setups in Mona Vale on Sydney’s northern beaches. We also have a mobile service, so if it’s too difficult to come to us, we can come to you!

European Autotech understands that for many people their cars are far more than just transport. So European Autotech will not only service and repair your car, but improve the performance through specialised setups specifically designed for your vehicle type.

We cover the complete range of Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Skoda and BMW vehicles, including the Audi RS range, Audi S range, Audi A4, Audi TT, Audi A6, Audi Allroad, BMW 3 series, BMW 5, Golf GTI, VW Passat, and VW Tiguan just to name a few. We also have the software for other European brands including Mercedes.

Derek has been working on prestige vehicles since 1982. Having completed his apprenticeship in Ireland he has worked in the UK with race teams in F3 and specialist VW, Audi workshops. Since coming to Australia in 1988 he has specialised in VW, Audi and BMW. With an 8 year interlude in racing in Australia, European Autotech opened in 2001.

A winner of many awards for the quality of his work, Derek has proven his dedication and skills in the motor industry. Derek has also demonstrated his attention to detail and engineering capabilities in the highly competitive motor racing environment, where he enjoyed success as chief engineer on Formula 3 cars.

We are members of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association and also the Performance, Racing and Tuning Council.
