Growing up I constantly had a camera in my hand; capturing moments and special memories. As time has gone by I have experimented with techniques aiming to capture moments with a unique perspective. I continue to try new things and am continually inspired by others to experiment with new ideas.
I have alway been passionate about expressing myself through movement, starting with gymnastics as a child, spending my free time dancing and now through the continued practice of circus skills. Having an understanding of the effort and work required to make performances look effortless I have used photography to highlight the strain on the body that is a part of expression through movement whether it be dancing, gymnastics or circus arts.
In my work as a physiotherapist I have been privileged to see the interaction between parents and children and the connection that each family has. This has inspired me to capture those connections that are such a meaningful part of family life.
