ECOmaniac will bring to the Goldfields a new, exciting, innovative, sustainable, environmental, cultural shopping experience! ECOmaniac will be a concept store which will blend artistic imagination, fair-trade products, and Eco products along with locally handmade up-cycled products which will give old items a new life.

Through Up-cycling we will incorporate anything from restoring and improving the condition or changing the color, all the way up to disassembling the item and putting it back together in a different way, making a whole new piece. Our Estate Sale purchases of exceptional and special pieces include well made furniture all types. For every up-cycled piece out there is an old item given new life, and kept out of a landfill!

Our product range will help educate the community along with helping our environment and worldwide communities, through innovative Social Enterprise concepts. And support local Social projects that help support Aboriginal Employment and support to maintain their culture on their lands!

In recent years, terms like "going green" and "eco-friendly" have become buzz words on talk shows, commercials and product packaging. The term "eco-friendly" has been used for so many different products and practices; its meaning is in danger of being lost. By showcasing our unique range of products in an eco-friendly, way, we can show our community how they can implement the practices that will lead to healthier living for the planet and its inhabitants, big and small!

ECOmaniac will only provide products linked to Eco and Ethical Produce Solutions as well as a range of Fair Trade gifts made by artisans in developing nations. "Ethical Shopping" has been described as including eco-friendly, organic, up cycled and fair trade products made by independent designers/artisans or ethical producers.

ECOmaniac will showcase the many ways that we can all reduce our impact on our environment and live a more sustainable lifestyle. Each product in our store will be chosen to fulfill a specific need, or try and reduce a negative environmental or social impact. Where possible we will use recycled materials or electronic media for postage and packaging, invoices, print media and advertising etc. Because many of our products will be sourced directly from manufacturers, we will be often able to provide the products to our customers free of any plastic packaging. Dealing direct with the manufacturers and producers also means our products don't have to go through distribution centres, warehouses etc which reduces the "product miles" meaning a smaller environmental footprint AND we can keep prices LOW for our customers.

We aim to have a positive impact on the Environment, and on OUR COMMUNITY and leave a "green" footprint. Bringing “PEOPLE – COMMUNITY – ENVIRONMENT” together!
