Releasing tension and stress is easy at the retreat, with rooms adorned with therapeutic king-sized beds. A quality experience is emphasised and whether you stay in th self-contained studio unit upstairs overlooking Wilson inlet or stay in the Sun Retreat. A fully self contained 4 x 4 inclusive of gourmet pantry with local hand made or freshly picked produce available. The chefs delightful kitchen boast semi commercial gas cooker, eco dishwasher. Linked to an spacious outdoor area complete with Yoga deck and mandella Garden. Each room has its own private ensuite with rainwater fed shower. The Sun Retreat also has a bath and outdoor spa perfect moonlight bathing. This WOW factor goes beyond the furnishings to include magnificent views of the Wilson Inlet and the amazing therapies that are offered.
Guests are encouraged to be creative in the art studio or book a private Thai massage on the deck, your own yoga space or a treatment to nourish your body, mind or spirit. The property is a photographers paradise. There are endangered red tailed carnabys who visit most afternoons during the flowering of the Redgums. Two families of splendid blue wren are often seen dancing in the gardens, calling Ecolight home. The native bush setting blooms with wildflowers over spring. A walk through the paths may reveal a magnificent cowslip orchid. You are welcome to enter the orchard full of forbidden fruit in season and tempt your soul in any of the delightful nookes abounding the acreage.
Eco Light Retreat is only 5 minutes’ drive from the Denmark town centre, yet it feels incredibly uninterrupted and tranquil. The Nornalup Heritage Trail can be walked or mountain biked all the way to the Denmark township along the banks of the Wilson Inlet. There is the Munda Biddi bike trail and Bibbulmun Track to explore. Ecolightretreat has mountain bikes to borrow for any adventure.
For those wanting to keep energised, Yasmin can arrange a thai yoga massage session on the deck or an evening barbeque on your own private deck following a day out exploring Denmark. Guest often return with suburb bottle of local wine and cheese and enjoy a leisurely evening watching the sun go down over the inlet.
