My name is Sally and I am a qualified Infant Massage Instructor.
I also hold a Diploma in early childhood teaching.
I worked as a early childhood teacher for 6 years and also have had three children of my own.
I became interested in baby massage because my daughter suffered with severe colic and abdominal discomfort. After going to an infant massage class and massaging her daily, she cried for shorter periods and she less episodes of stomach discomfort. My stress levels were halved because she would sleep for longer periods giving me time to catch up on sleep. Also I formed a closer bond with her.
My aim is to pass on my knowledge to parents about the magic of infant massage and how they can help their child to settle, sleep better, reduce crying and relieve problems such as wind, colic, constipation, reflux and eczema. It even helps reduce post-natal depression.
I will teach you the right massage technique and everything you need to know. It is a skill for life. You will be able to use it with your children as teenagers, as the channel of communication will be broadened between you and your teenager.
