Hans and Sue have been part of the Biloela community since 1982. ‘We moved here to work on the haul roads at Callide B and never left’.

Hans had trucks then, so he is well versed with the ‘time means money’ concept that when a vehicle is not working it is not earning and carries this attitude forward to his belief of timeliness and cost effectiveness of repairs. When Hans is not working he enjoys fishing.

Sue is well known in her role of registered nurse at the medical centre a role she has had for over 25 years. She does behind the scenes work at CV Auto Tyrepower. Sue can be found most weekends on the golf course.

They employ 2 office girls, Karen and Kerri who keep the office running efficiently. Two tyre fitters, Beau and Guy and 3 mechanics, Rick, Chris and Cho and of course, Hans who is the first point of contact for most people.

CV Auto Tyrepower is a comprehensive automotive service business which has traded under the present owners since 2001. Prior to 2004 the business traded as CV Auto Tyre Centre. The business became a member of the Tyrepower network in 2004.

The Tyrepower group was established in 1977 and has now grown to be the largest independent tyre retailer in Australiasia with 260 stores in Australia and 22 in New Zealand. Tyrepower is not a conventional franchise: it is a buyer cooperative.

It also operates as an authorised inspection station for roadworthiness inspections and provides comprehensive mechanical servicing and repairs to all vehicles and trucks.

Towing services are provided to RACQ members as a contract RACQ service provider since 2002. Private towing also available.
