Credit Default Removal

Each time we apply for credit, the lender will access a copy of your credit report. These reports are compiled by and maintained by credit reporting agencies, notably Veda, Dunn and Bradstreet as well as Experian. Your credit report holds such information as your personal details, applications you have made for credit as well as any negative payment history. Australian lenders of all sizes view your credit report as one of the most important aspects of any credit application. A negative payment history, known as a default on your credit file may lead to your application for credit being declined.

Fortunately the Australian Federal laws that regulate credit reporting are designed to protect both the creditor and the borrower.

The legislation concerned is the Privacy Act 1982 (www.oaic.gov.au).

Unfortunately like most law it is quite complex.

If we can establish that the adverse credit listing is incorrect, or has been applied incorrectly WE CAN HAVE THE LISTING PERMANENTLY REMOVED. Leprosy cured.

So what does it cost? Our fee is $990 (that is more than half the cost of other companies providing this service) for the removal of any single adverse listing. We require NO UPFRONT PAYMENT. Payment for our services become due upon receipt of a letter from the creditor agreeing to remove the incorrect adverse listing.

Upon receipt of the second payment we will forward the removal demand to the credit reporting agencies independently.
