Ponyboy is different, he’s not like other greasers, he’s smart, he loves writing and has hopes for the future. His brothers want him to keep his nose down and out of trouble. ‘Cept it’s hard to stay out of trouble when you’re a greaser.

The Outsiders, based on the popular book by S.E. Hinton is a CPAC Youth Committee production in conjunction with local young people as part of Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre’s 21st birthday celebrations. It’s a story about sitting on the outside of the tracks, hoping to belong.
