NSW Health is partnering with the NSW Rugby League to reduce the rates of chronic disease in Aboriginal communities. This new initiative is part of the Culture Health Communities strategy that brings together culture and communities to improve Aboriginal health.

Culture Health Communities will kick off in 2012 with two community challenges, a weight loss challenge and a walking challenge. These will be open to communities who support the Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout.
