Coffee For Change - UNSW

Hi,

We are Coffee For Change.

Our mission is to set up a Not For Profit Cafe at UNSW (The University of New South Wales) for students ad staff to access affordable meals and coffee, whist also employing members of our community who need assistance in their employment.

UNSW is packed full of great food and coffee vendors, but prices are quite high and students are unfortunately a captive market. Many students can not afford the food on offer, or are not able to bring lunch from home. This leads to students forgoing nutrition at what is a pivotal moment for their development.

We understand that a hot coffee and a nutritious meal go a long way. At Coffee For Change we aim to supply exactly what we say, a hot cup of coffee for loose change. We also aim to give students a hot lunch that is nutritionally balanced and easy on the wallet.

We are still at the early stages and need all the support we can get. So please like and share our page to get the word out there. And please make suggestions for sites, menus and ideas.
