Our not for profit homecare agency, operates across Sydney, providing high quality aged, disability and respite care for families and support workers, including those with physical and multiple complex needs. We support and enable vulnerable people to lead fuller and more active lives.

Our Organisation :
Co-operative Homecare is a not-for-profit, social enterprise and an employee-owned co-operative. The co-operative was established to provide reliable, local and consistent home support services. The co-operative structure makes us a unique provider of home care services in Australia. All profits generated by the enterprise are re-invested back into our staff and business in the forms of additional training, higher wages and improved services. We work with people supported by the NDIS as well as other organisations such as NSW Trustee and Guardian.
Our co-operative’s employees are both “staff” and “members” of the organisation, and have an important say in how we run our business in order to provide the best-possible standards of homecare, assisted living and Alzheimer’s care can be provided and maintained. They are highly motivated as they own the business.
This workplace structure results in lowered staff turn-over, therefore constancy for our customers which means we are providing higher standards of care. The ongoing investment in relationships forged between support workers and customers is paramount to the wellbeing of our customers and staff.

Community Support :
Our teams assess needs and work with each individual to develop and maintain independent living skills for as long as possible. We also respond rapidly in times of crisis.
We have dedicated and committed teams who are passionate about working with people, families and support workers.
For those with multiple complex and challenging needs, our well trained and experienced staff are ready to assist.
We provide dignified, respectful support via motivated and well trained staff who put the individual at the heart of all care delivered. Our person-centred approaches offer those for whom we care opportunity to participate in planning and choosing the support they want, in order to lead a life of their own choosing.
