BACKGROUND:
CCH Group Pty Ltd (also known as Childers Concrete & Haulage) is a family business with a corporate edge. It started as a haulage operation in 1979, and now has the second generation growing the business forward. Company headquarters are located in Childers, Queensland – in the heart of the Wide Bay area (3.5 hours from Brisbane). Our sweet spot for work is from the Sunshine Coast to Mackay and a few hundred kilometres west of this coast strip.

CAPABILITY & EXPERIENCE:
With 50+ staff, and a modern fleet of 35+ company truck & dogs, semi tippers, side tippers, body trucks, and concrete agitator trucks, as well as regular subcontractors, we have been wet hiring trucks and plant to customers for over 30 years. We have the largest truck fleet in the Wide Bay area and can provide a professional one-stop-shop for private, civil, mining and government projects requiring trucks and plant/machinery & OHS documentation.

TRUCK HAULAGE SERVICES:
We have been providing large scale truck and plant hire, as well as concrete supply for major contractors, including Leighton Contractors, Fulton Hogan, Seymour Whyte, CMC, Abi Group, and RoadTek as well as councils including Bundaberg Regional Council and quarries such as Paverock Quarry, Hervey Bay Quarry, Biggenden Quarry, Hardrock Quarry, Central Queensland Quarries, Sibelco Quarry, Earth Commodities and many more. We make sure you have the truck and plant number you require on any given day.

CONCRETE MANUFACTURE & DELIVERY:
On the concrete side, we been manufacturing and supplying concrete since 1986 and have a company fleet of 7 concrete agitator trucks. We also have full Jas-Anz international quality certification on our concrete. We can also wet hire agitator trucks to jobs in other areas – we are already doing this for companies like McCoskers.

We have completed a range of major concrete projects in the past including:
• Isis River Bridge, near Buxton turn off on Bruce Highway, for Seymour Whyte, Gregory River Bridge (Isis Highway and Goodwood Road), for an Alliance which included CMC and Main Roads, the Apple Tree Creek Overpass, Bruce Highway, for RoadTek, and the Sandy Creek Bridge on Biggenden Road, for RoadTek

MOBILE CONCRETE BATCHING PLANT:
We have our own mobile concrete batch plant which we can utilise on your job site for larger concrete pours both locally and throughout the State.

ONE POINT OF CONTACT:
Our Operations Manager, Paul Mahoney (0417 261 881) looks after logistics, and can also provide ‘hands on coordination of vehicles and machines required throughout the day if required’. This means your site project manager and/or foreman only need to ring one person at CCH Group to organise what trucks/plant/and paperwork is needed on site. Our Commercial Manager, Hollie Brassington looks after the business side include pricing and contract negotiation.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE:
Most of our trucking fleet is now under maintenance management (NHVAS Accreditation Number 645/03293) which requires strict records including pre-start check lists for all vehicles and set service schedules. Copies of maintenance history for all vehicles can be supplied at any time as required.

COMPLIANCE: Registration certificates, driver licences, Maintenance/Mass Management and Quality Management Certificates can be provided as required.

MANAGEMENT: Our hands-on Operations Manager manages the job, organises drivers and vehicles and drives sometimes to ensure the job is running smoothly. Any operational issues can be resolved with our Operations Manager and/or Commercial Manager at any time and we believe two-way communication is critical at all times. Our Operations Manager has the flexibility to change truck numbers, locations and plans at any time during the day to suit your needs, and can call on extra trucks if required from our own company fleet as well as from long term subcontractors in different locations. Our drivers are scrutinised for ability before being employed and continually trained further in driving operations.
