Carinya Home for the Aged

Carinya Home for the Aged is situated in Atherton on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, Queensland. We have a wonderful natural outlook taking in the lush rainforest surrounds of the area and are located within 1 ½ hour’s drive from Cairns.
Carinya Home provides residential aged care services and independent living accommodation and has provided high quality residential care to the Atherton Tablelands districts since 1977. We are a community based non-profit organisation that has set the standard and developed an excellent model for services attuned to the special needs of residents.
We offer assisted, complex, dementia specific and respite care services. These services are supported by Commonwealth Government funding.
Our independent living accommodation is by tenancy agreement.
