Cardinia Combined Churches Caring

Cardinia Combined Churches Caring began in 1997 to provide emergency food relief for the residents of the Cardinia Shire. To be eligible for assistance you must live in the Cardinia Shire and be experiencing a crisis. Proof of residence must be provided at every visit.

Cardinia Combined Churches Caring provides short term emergency food relief to clients whilst maintaining consumer choice and dignity during what can be a difficult time. Privacy is maintained at all times and our volunteers endeavour to make clients feel at ease and comfortable.

Other services available to clients include budget assistance, baby nappies and formula, low budget cook books and cooking classes, access to low cost clothing and furniture, No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS), assistance paying utility bills, crisis accomodation, financial advisor and youth and families worker, Christmas Hampers and toys and fresh bread daily.

We can also offer a free referral service to other community organisations within the Shire, who can assist Clients with other needs that may arise.
