Hi my names Jess Lawley and I’m the owner of Busy Feet!!

I decided to open up a dog walking & minding business essentially for all those people that have busy lives! Whether they’re too old to keep walking their dogs regularly, have long working hours, are going on a holiday or just doesn’t have the time!

You can rest easy knowing your pets are in good hands. With me I bring the following:

➢ A Certificate II in Animal Studies, studied at TAFE North Sydney Institute. This has provided me with abundant knowledge including, animal behaviour and how to read an animals temperament signals, nutrition, exercise for all ages and how to care for the many different types of animals (horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, snakes, turtles etc.) plus much more!

➢ Volunteer work with the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital where I got to meet and work with an array of wildlife and watch their rehabilitation.

➢ Volunteer work with the RSPCA Queensland. I worked with sick, abused and unwanted pets and watched them go through recovery to then be adopted. I helped walk the dogs and helped with behavioural training to make the animals more desirable for adoption.

➢ A current police check.

➢ Up to date vaccinations.

Busy Feet is currently located in the Hinterland of Maleny.
However we service from Caloundra to Coolum Beach & the hinterland including Beerwah and Nambour- Additional surcharge may apply for services outside this area, please ask for a customised quote.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

Dog Walking.
Just as fish need to swim and birds need to fly, dogs need to walk! Walking offers your dog great mental stimulation by providing new smells, sights, and sounds to explore that may have changed. On our walks we will promote good behaviour and practice skills on how to walk properly. For example did you know that dogs should be walking either beside or behind you, not in front of you (the alpha always leads and in this case the alpha should be you). Busy Feet offer either a 30-minute or a 60-minute walk for your pooch. We can customise these walks to your dog’s needs/fitness levels.

• Individual Dog Walking
> 30-minute walk $20
> 60-minute walk $25

• Group/Paired Dog Walking
(up to 4 small dogs, 2 big dogs)
> 30-minute walk for 2+ dogs $25
> 60-minute walk for 2+ dogs $30


House visits.
Going to be away for a few days or even a few weeks and don’t require someone to stay overnight but do however have pets that need some TLC? This is where house visits are your ultimate option! Busy Feet will visit your beloved animals and play, feed, water, bath or anything they may require every day to guarantee they’re getting the daily attention and stimulation they need all whilst checking on the property making sure all is well at your home.
**Add on an extra 30-minute walk for $10**

• 30-minute visit $25

• 60-minute visit $30


House Sitting.
Take the stress out of kennels and have Busy Feet come to your own home. This is especially great for older pets and homes with multiple pets. As pets age, introducing them to a new environment can become strenuous and challenging and has been found to increase levels of anxiety for your pet. In-home care will provide a personalised experience whilst giving them all the love and attention they need and deserve in the luxury of their own familiar and safe surroundings! Allowing you to enjoy your time away and come home to some pampered pets. Arriving at 4pm and leaving the following morning at 9am unless otherwise stated.

• $50 for the first night, then $40 for each additional night.


**Keeping water bowls fresh and full, provide walks, plays, water plants, take bins in/out, collect mail and brushing pets is all included**


Miscellaneous (non negotiable).

• All services are to be payed either prior or at the time of service.

• Peak periods (school/public holidays) will require a $10 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking (due to demand).

• Public holidays have a $15 surcharge.

• During regular periods if a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice a charge of $10 will be applied. If the service has already been completed prior to cancelling no refund will be given.
