The Budgeree Hall is the keystone for the local remote rural community. It provides events throughout the year that encourages the local residents and surrounding regions to come together to swap stories and news. The committee organizes and implements the events based on the needs of the community. It is based on a very long tradition with many of the original families of the area represented. The most popular event is the annual Christmas Tree. A night of fun, games and old time dancing plus a Santa visit with gifts for the children.
The Hall is managed by a volunteer committee appointed by Dept of Environment, Land,Water & Planning. The Annual General Meeting is held every April.
