Acushla has created The Body Temple Format which encompasses two branches of training: an Improvised style of dance (based on principles from ATS) as well as her latest Belly Dance Blueprint which is aimed at dancers who are more tribal fusion inclined and thrive in learning new ways to thread movement sequences together through layering and stunning body positions.
The Belly Dance Blueprint aims to provide a thorough understanding of good body mechanics and muscular understanding and how it directly relates to the core of Middle Eastern Dance movement and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance. Acushla’s aim for creating this format is to raise the level of technical ability and to offer a sound structure from which dancers can access their own creativity in movement. The teaching methodology has been developed as a result of 10 years experience in American Tribal Style Belly Dance (certified ATS teacher), Tribal Fusion as well as incorporating key concepts from Classical belly dance and Classical Indian Dance (Bharatanatyam)
