Blue Van

“The Blue Van” offers the Italian street food “Piadina”. Consisting of Italian flat bread filled with variety of cheeses, premium charcuterie and gourmet salads. It has high nutrition value and is unique in the Australian market. We are operating in the Busselton and Margaret River shires, 6 days a week, and offer catering for festivals and private functions.

With 10 years’ experience in hospitality in Europe and Australia, we moved to the south west region to establish our food in the local community, as part of the growing surf-dine-and-wine movement in the region.

Our bread is rolled and cooked per order to keep freshness and create interest in the process. Our salads are prepared daily from local produce and our small goods come from “Princi” in Perth (via “Yorkies”), and local specialised farmers.

We are introducing the Brazilian drink “Acai” to the region; this berry is known as a super food, energizing and full of anti-oxidant, perfect for the athletic life style. Plus we are selling home-made juices on top of the common variety of sodas and water.

Our bread is yeast and lactose free, therefore light to digest; we also cater to all the different needs when it comes to private functions, whether vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free.

Our price range is 8-12$, surcharge may vary and special need basis and lower price is considered to children’s events, depending on menu. Also booking and catering fees are available.
