Black Site VR

Black Site VR is a Virtual Reality (VR) Play Zone, for those new to VR or hard core enthusiasts who wish to come play the various games available or enjoy general VR content such as short films and other VR experiences. We provide you with access to one or more VR headsets as you require and a playing bay to play out your game by moving within that space or try a seated experience in a safe environment. Each playing bay can be booked for 40 minutes at a time.

We would like VR to be a shared experience, so you and your friends can book an entire bay or several to compete in Multi-Player or otherwise if you book just the one bay, you can share with your friends as spectators, viewing your friend who is immersed in VR on our provided TV Screens so you can see the action or experience that they are in, we highly recommend this for horror titles.

There are no extra costs for extra players as each booking per bay is a fixed price for that 40 minute block. So your friends and you could share the time that you spend in the playing bay, trying out different types of VR Experiences. To add to that shared experience we will also hold VR competitions and leader boards, with prizes. So enter or come watch your friends in games such as shooters to see who the real boss is at shooting games, especially when your whole body becomes part of the experience instead of just your thumbs on a keyboard or control pad. Black Site VR hopes to expand the VR facilities to include other peripherals in future for such competitions, so stay tuned.

Room scaled VR is a physical experience, so be prepared to be moving a lot and becoming tired if not exhausted, depending on your personal level of enthusiasm but we always first and fore most encourage safety, which we will cover in more detail on your arrival. With regards to safety, we will mention now that it is a shared facility and we wish to maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere for all users and due to the nature of VR taking up your visibility from the real world, we discourage you from being drug or alcohol affected, otherwise you will not be allowed to play and your purchase is non-refundable.

We have modest selection of VR games and Experiences to try from for now but you may choose whichever you wish to play in your Playing Bay on arrival.
