Black Sheep Workshop is a trades collective founded by two local blokes John Paterson and Jamie Burke..
Located at the historic Castlemaine Woollen Mills, Shed 5 is a workshop with trades and crafts collaborating. The main focus is sculptural and structural steel work and timber furniture.
The original shed was the wool bale store and is now being fitted out as a multi trade workshop. Short and long term rental spaces for projects are available. There is an onsite gallery, with separate entrance which is available for exhibitions.
The businesses housed in Shed 5 work individually as well as collaboratively. Each artisan has their own area of expertise.
