Family Day Care is a community based quality childcare service that offers professional and supervised care for children in private homes of a carer.
As an Educator we are required to operate our service according to the State's requirements of the child care regulations. We are wholly responsible for the care and supervision of the children and must be present with them at all times.
Best Friend Family Day Care is managed by coordination units to provide the highest standards of quality care for children in a secure environment.
Best Friend Family Day Care pursues professional Early Childhood programs that meet the needs of the communities and promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of the children involved in care. Encourage children to freely choose activities, solve problems and have access to learning experiences.
At Best Friend Family Day Care we have a philosophy to provide a secure, stable, happy and stimulating environment for children which facilities the optimum development of each child.

We aim to provide, develop, resource and manage a day care service that fulfils the need of the community and works in partnership with families to provide a professional and high quality care for young children.
Our objectives are to ensure a family cantered approach, responsive to individual needs of children and families, differing cultures and child rearing practices and the community.
We provide an environment where high standard of safety, health and hygiene are maintained.
We ensure that the service complies with the State Children’s Services Regulations, National quality standards.
Best Friend Family Day Care is working within the National Quality Framework to further improve our commitment to providing quality day care. Recognising that the early years of the children in our care, are the years they develop most quickly, we strive to provide stimulus in the way of playgroups, excursions and community events.
Best Friend Family Day Care provides professional and flexible child care services including all day care, part time or casual care. For families who are on call or work shifts, care may be available overnight or on weekends.
Parents do not have to be Australian residents to use the service. However, Child Care Benefits is only paid for children whose parents meet Australian residence requirements. There May be no place like home for your child, but finding a quality in home child care provider can be the next best thing. Many families tout the benefits of using family day care, where early child hood educators care for a smaller number of children in the comfort of their home.

Curriculum:

Our curriculum also enables the child to freely explore, investigate and experience the world while developing their sense of individuality and creativity.

A working parent is a father or a mother who engages in a work life, aside from their duties as a childcare provider. There are many structures within families including, but not limited to, singles, working mothers, working fathers etc... There are also married parents who are dual-earners.
