Beaches Backpackers is centrally located in vibrant Airlie Beach – a gorgeous little town overlooking the beautiful Coral Sea.

Opposite the lagoon, near all the nightlife and local amenities, Beaches is the perfect place to stay while you explore the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and tropical Queensland coast.

Offering quality budget hostel accommodation, all rooms have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and a balcony. Guests can choose from 6, 8 or 10 bed dorms (mixed or female only) or stay in one of our private rooms.

All guests have access to a fully equipped share kitchen/dining area, TV room, 24-hour coin operated laundry and free wifi in public areas. Beaches also offers complimentary parking for guests with a vehicle.

Our in house bar and bistro is open from 12pm to 12am every day (food served from 12pm-9pm), and features big-screen TVs, pool tables and arcade machines, and a range of nightly entertainment. All Beaches guests are entitled to a 50% off meal deal voucher from our popular menu for each night they stay.

The tour desk can help you plan your trip out the Whitsunday Islands to see the stunning Whitehaven beach, snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and relax on the local resort islands. They can also help you plan ahead to your next destination. Discounts are available to our in house guests.
