The Australian Tropical Herbarium (ATH) is a joint venture of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Director National Parks (DNP), Queensland Department of Science, Information Technology, Innovation and the Arts, and James Cook University.
Our vision is to make the Australian Tropical Herbarium a leader in tropical plant biodiversity research, that conducts diverse, relevant and innovative research; converts that research into useful products; offers training, inspiration and engagement with the community; and, by collaborating with others, achieves a greater understanding of sustainable tropical systems.
