The Humble Enterprise Foundation was created to help Australian’s with disabilities and people experiencing long-term unemployment enhance their ability to gain and experiencing long-term unemployment enhance their ability to gain and maintain long term employment.

At this time in our history, abundant evidence concludes that children with disabilities face a future of limited opportunities and extreme difficulty finding sustainable employment.

Humble considers the genesis of these difficulties is to children with disabilities in childhood. We look to maximise social integration and identification of skills at an early age.

We have a particular focus on a) harnessing the special skills available to children with high functioning autism, b) reduction in bullying in children who are “different” and c) ultimately ensuring every Aussie kid has a mate.

All of our action is focused on finding a place in Australian culture, reducing stigma and avoiding decades of misdirected effort. Within the context of the Commonwealth priorities, we focus on INCLUSION issues ie reducing cultural, systemic and environmental obstacles to access and participation for people with a disability.
