Therapeutic arts involves using creative processes and artistic mediums to provide people with the opportunity to resolve personal issues and discover their potential, improving and enhancing emotional, cognitive, physical functioning
and overall wellbeing.

Expressive therapies offers an environment to safely reveal awareness to psychological dynamics that may be preventing or compromising the clients optimum health and vitality. Through self reflection and insight, emotional expression and release can resolve inner conflicts, traumatic experiences and unhelpful life patterns.

Sessions cater to the needs of individuals and groups
of all ages actively seeking personal growth and goal setting initiatives. Initial stages of therapy assist in becoming comfortable with the therapeutic arts processes that support the development of self-awareness and personal insight through creative expression.



All sessions are confidential, non-judgemental in a relaxed space with professional, qualified, experienced support. Programs can be tailored for short and longer term goal setting with sessions running 1-1.5 hours. Sessions can take place at Arthaven Studio but in situations where it is difficult for you to attend, we can arrange to come to you. All art materials are provided and no previous art or craft experience is necessary. Sometimes people just need to talk and that’s ok too.
