Ahimsa
Sanskrit = non-violence in thoughts, words and actions. This is a very important aspect of Yoga, starting with being kind to yourself, listening to your body and not forcing yourself into postures that your body is not ready for at this particular point in time.
Yoga
Union of the body and the mind. All classes incorporate postures (asana) to foster flexibility, strength and balance, breathing techniques (pranayama) and a guided relaxation/ meditation to enable students of all levels to reconnect to their inner Self and to reap the many physical and mental benefits of Yoga, leaving class relaxed and rejuvenated.
With Martina
My Yoga journey has started more than 15 years ago when my former employer offered classes at work. I signed up as my body suffered from working long hours in a sedentary job. I was hooked immediately. Since then, I have been inspired by so many amazing teachers both here in Australia and overseas. In 2014, I felt a strong calling to become a teacher myself and to share what a big difference Yoga can make in people’s lives.
