Active Performance Studio Geelong

APS is a performance training ground facility situated in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. APS caters for children, teen and adult students who want to challenge and develop their craft in all facets of drama and performance.

APS offers classes at all levels; beginner, intermediate and advanced plus monthly workshops with Australia’s best Casting Directors.

APS aims to provide all students with confidence and complete credibility, not just in the class room, but out in the field where is counts – onstage, onset and during auditions. Our teachers are industry professionals and will balance the training curriculum with their experience and knowledge to ensure we are one of the best training facilities in Melbourne.

APS is thrilled to have the brilliant John Gauci on board as our patron, mentor and teacher. John has been a veteran of the arts industry for the past 40 years. He’s worked as a director, producer, executive producer, scriptwriter and an actor.

Geelong Classes are every Friday of the school term with Under 15 classes beginning from 4:30pm - 6:30 and Adult classes following after from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
