Our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists are trained in the specialty of Hand Therapy and splinting.
We provide individualised rehabilitation and management plans for a variety of hand and arm injuries and conditions including fractures, sprains, strains, tendon/ nerve/ joint injuries, and following surgical procedures.
Modalities include wound management, oedema management, custom made thermoplastic splinting/ orthosis, pain management, soft tissue management, dry needling, electrotherapy, strengthening, and stretching programmes.
Active Hand Therapy is happy to treat patients under WorkCover, private health funds/ insurance, DVA and EPC/MBS (Medicare) GP plans.
