332 'City of Wagga Wagga' Squadron is part of the greater Australian Air Force Cadet Organisation. The unit falls under 3 Wing (New South Wales) and is one of 39 units across the state. Our unit offers an opportunity for young people to be involved with one of the premier youth organisations in Australia. Opportunities exist to become part of a greater team learning skills such as Aviation history, theory and practical, Military Service Knowledge, Field Skills, Survival training, weapons handling and live shooting, Drill and Ceremonial skills and an opportunity to move up and learn leadership and management techniques with recognised civilian qualifications. 332 Squadron consists of approximately 50 members who come from all places around the Riverena area.

332 Squadron is located at the end of Don Kendall Drive at the edge of RAAF Base Wagga. We meet on Tuesday evenings during school terms between the times of 6pm and 9.30pm. The unit is staffed by several adult staff members including permanent Air Force members, Qualified AAFC uniformed and civilian staff and parent helpers. There are often weekend or school holiday activities but these are generally activities that are applied for by individual cadets not a compulsory activity.

Cadets is open to boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 20. Recruitment however should occur prior to age 16. The Australian Air Force Cadets is a great opportunity for young people to develop good character and citizenship. It is highly recommended for people irrespective of wanting a future career in the military or just wanting to develop organisational and life skills for the future.
