A purveyor of Black & White “Noir” photography.
After graduating from Art College in Melbourne with a degree in Fine Art (painting) in the mid 80’s, he completed the rest of his aesthetic education in the sordid backrooms of inner city counter culture. He has exhibited in most capital cities across Europe, Asia and Australia. A live Webcam linked exhibition in Buenos Aires being one of the more interesting excursions into the surreal.
His influences come from the backroom boys of western art history {prior post modernist hedonism}, the mid 20th century European film school, and the sheer arrogance of youthful naivety.
He has a long and sordid relationship with the music industry, and the self obsessed kitty Kats that slink in its emotional catwalks. His enigmatic ability to translate a mere picture into a composition that captures the moment in all it’s unfolding tones and emotions sets him apart. Images it has been said, that are “like postcards from the Gods”.
He recently toured Ukraine as both a visual performer, and, a roving one man studio. Still, the demand for a “risqué shoot” far outweighs the supply. {Geography for this man will always be a killer.} To the untrained he is just a crazy alley cat, slinking through the back streets of life. For those whose taste buds are attuned, he gives off a scent of suave seduction and pungent whiff of cultural promiscuity,,,,….!
